I shuttle between Montreal (where I grew up) and Toronto frequently for business and I like what I do as a freelance consultant in marketing. In reality, I was a tad unsure when I joined this site, but you know what? I'd rather be here--where you can get some foreknowledge of people's personalities, careers and interests--than in some dimly lit, smoke-filled bar.

Yes, I've heard some stories in which people indulge in "false advertising, " posting pictures of people other than themselves and stating they had high-paying jobs. Oh well, I guess one has to weed out the good apples from the bad. As for myself, I'm an upbeat, down-to-earth guy with a sound career and not enough hobbies. I'm basically on this site to make a compatible connection, ..and from there the rest will follow..
